We don't buy insurance thinking we will need it tomorrow.
The main reason people put off insuring for long term care is that they do not think it will happen to them and if it does it will be many years in the future.
But what if you are wrong? How would a $10,000 a month long term care expense effect your lifestyle and how would you pay?
The need for long term care can happen at any time, at any age.
Will I ever need it? The fact that this cannot be known in advance creates the necessity for insurance.

The most asked question is: "How much does long term care insurance cost?"
Like other insurance it depends on how much of the risk you want to insure. The premium is based on your age, health and the coverage you want.
You have a choice of either traditional long term care insurance, life insurance or annuity that provide long term care benefits. Some policies can be funded with qualified money (IRA/401k).
I can help you design the most appropriate and affordable plan. I will provide you with quotes from the major companies.

Experience.
With more than 20 years of experience in long-term care planning, I guide clients through every stage of the process — from initial education and plan design to product selection, application, underwriting, and claims. I work with clients across all 50 states.
My career began at GE Capital as a financial advisor. After five years there, I transitioned to independent practice, first with Individual Commercial Brokerage (ICB) and later with Simplicity/Medford Lakes — giving me both institutional grounding and the freedom to truly put clients first.
I represent only financially strong insurance companies with strong track records and low claims complaints. Because I'm an independent broker, I work for you — not the insurance company. And the premiums you pay are exactly the same whether you work with me or anyone else. The difference is the expertise and advocacy you get.
I've spoken on long-term care planning at churches, Rotary clubs, universities, and professional organizations including the National Association of Financial Advisors and Caltech. I've also presented to large groups such as the 300-member Sacramento County Retired Employees Association.
Most clients want an agent who is both knowledgeable and trustworthy. That's the standard I hold myself to — and I back it up by offering plans with maximum flexibility, so your coverage works the way your life actually does.
